The Sustainable Development Club (SDC) at MCBS made a mark at the MCBS Club Festival with a series of impactful initiatives. In collaboration with the departments, SDC organized a departmental planting competition, promoting environmental sustainability and community involvement. The winner will be announced on International Day of Forests – 21st March 2024.
The club also organized a clothes donation drive and an e-waste collection campaign, encouraging attendees to adopt sustainable practices. SDC also conducted a series of engaging SDG-themed Kahoot quiz competitions testing students’ knowledge on SDGs. Through these diversified activities, SDC was determined to commit itself to the 3 Ps framework: People, Planet, and Profit, through the slogan “Together at MCBS, Leaving No One Behind,” while bringing sustainability and circular economy to the heart of campus life.
