The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) was honoured with QS ‘5 Stars’ rating.

This recognition places MCBS among the world’s elite institutes of higher education, enhancing its reputation as a leader in the region’s educational sector.

The award is the result of the process of independent data collection and analysis by the QS Stars methodology.

This evaluation, which assesses universities globally across various categories, provides a reliable and comprehensive understanding of university strengths and areas for improvement, instilling confidence in the quality of education at MCBS and aiding prospective students in making informed decisions. MCBS has excelled by achieving an overall rating of ‘5 Stars’ as a result of evaluating its performance in academic areas related to the following categories: Teaching, Academic Development, Facilities, Employability, Internationalisation, Business Management Studies, Social Impact, and Inclusiveness. The QS states that “a university with a ‘5 Stars’ rating is considered world-class in a broad range of areas, enjoys a high reputation, and has cutting-edge facilities and internationally renowned research and teaching faculty.”

Dr Muneer al-Maskari, executive chairman of MCBS, commented: “Receiving the ‘5 Stars’ is a great honour, as it places MCBS among the top 150 of the world’s excelling institutes of higher education. This recognition of the academic and professional standards comes as a result of the commitment of both the management team and the faculty.”
