Ms. Samia S. Montasser has a vast experience in teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL). Her teaching experience spans 30 years in various universities and institutes in USA, like, The American University, School of Advanced International Studies “SAIS”, Johns Hopkins University, and the George Washington University in the Washington DC . She has also taught several intensive summers in Middlebury College in Vermont.
She also taught Arabic to diplomats and personnel at the United Nations in New York, and at the Foreign Service Institute in Washington D.C.
She obtained her degrees and qualifications in Linguistics and Translation at Alazhar University and Cairo University, Egypt, Bath University, UK, and Georgetown University, USA.
She has co-authored ‘Al-Qaari' AD-Dawli , Arabic International Reader, Reader in International Affairs: Advanced Arabic (book) 1998, and CD-ROM in 1999, which is published by Kendall Hunt Publ. Co.
