Competency in devising significant HSE solutions, organizing development projects for maintaining sound and mature Environmental and H&S systems. Certified & proficient in developing and implementing both, Quality and HSE Management Systems, Ergonomic Risk Assessments, Due Diligence of operations. Certified Incident Investigation skills for High Risk incidents and Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 & ISO 45001.
Master’s degree in Environmental Economics followed by a Masters in Sociology and PGD in Industrial Safety, with over 20 years of extensive operational experience in HSE Management Systems with the recent decade in the O&G industry in the Middle East. Distinction of working with multi-national manufacturing facilities like PDO, Dekra, General Electric and Johnson Controls, in India and Singapore. Prior to which have been a lecturer teaching Behavioural Science and English.
Teaching / Training Interests
Teaching Introduction to Safety Management, Introduction to Health Management, Safety Program Management, Environmental Compliance, Ergonomics courses in Health and Safety.
Has one work in progress research Project: Audit Protocols – A simplification of HSE Self-Assessment Process in 12 key areas of Operational Safety and Occupational Health. This project is underway and in the digitization phase.
