Biography

Dr. Siraj. K.K is currently the Assistant Professor of Finance, Faculty of Business and Economics, MCBS.  He is also part of the Quality Assurance & Accreditation activities of MCBS.  Dr. Siraj earned his Ph.D. (Finance) from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and MBA – Finance, and  MCom- Finance from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He is qualified UGC- NET & JRF (Commerce) and UGC-NET (Management). Dr. Siraj is IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (Quality Management System) and a Certified Risk Professional (ISO 22301: 2012, ISO 27001:2013 & ISO 31000:2018). He is also empaneled in the Register of External Reviewers at the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority and Quality Assurance in Education (OAAAQAE).

Dr.Siraj has more than 15 years of experience in academics, research, corporate consulting, and training.

Teaching / Training Interests

  • Currently, Dr. Siraj is handling Corporate Finance, Commercial Bank Management, and other finance-related courses. He has also conducted workshops and training programs on Quality Assurance, with a specific focus on institutional and program accreditations at various HEIs in India and abroad.

Research Areas

  • Dr. Siraj has published more than 20 research papers in indexed and referred journals. The major research focus areas include Asset quality in banking, comparative studies on Islamic and conventional banking, quality assurance, and pedagogical developments in Higher Education Institutions.
