Biography
Dr. Dharmendra Singh is an Assistant Professor at Modern College of Business and Science, Muscat (Oman). He possesses a rich professional experience of over 19 years in the field of finance out of which 10 years is his post PhD experience. Heholds PhD (Finance), professional certifications like Certified Financial Planner (CFP), associate diploma (life insurance) from Insurance Institute of India and CFA from ICFAI. He has published a number of articles & research papers in various international and refereed journals of repute, some of them listed in ABDC and Scopus. His research area includes banking, corporate finance and financial markets. He also serves as a reviewer for select journals. He is a member of Financial Planning Standard Board Ltd. (FPSB), Indian Econometric Society and Insurance Institute of India.
Teaching / Training Interests
Dr Singh has expertise in teaching the courses, International Financial Management, Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Advanced Financial Management, Essentials of Investment, Commercial Bank Management, Practice of Personal Financial Planning, Principles of Insurance, & Business Statistics. He has designed and delivered short courses on insurance and banking.
