Prof. Mani Joseph is an academic administrator with over 30 years of experience in higher education, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at the Modern College of Business & Science (MCBS). Throughout his career, he has held various key positions, including Associate Dean for Quality Assurance & Accreditation and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at MCBS. Prof. Joseph has also served in notable academic and administrative roles at Sharjah College, UAE, MG University, Karunya University, and Cochin University of Science & Technology in India. His core areas of expertise encompass curriculum development, institutional and program review, institutional research, accreditation documentation, and teaching. His areas of research interest are Cybersecurity, Machine Learning and Information Technology Education. He has published several articles in these areas.

In addition to his academic roles, Prof. Joseph is a highly regarded accreditor and reviewer, serving as an External Reviewer for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAAQA) and an ABET IT Program Evaluator.  His professional affiliations include membership in esteemed organizations such as the IEEE Computer Society and  ISACA. Prof. Joseph has been actively involved in mentoring educators, developing new academic programs, and participating in various accreditation and review panels. His dedication to continuous learning and his passion for education are evident in his extensive list of certifications, including those from ISACA and SAP, as well as his participation in international academic committees and conferences.

Prof. Joseph has played pivotal roles in numerous conferences, including as the Conference Chair for the 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Information Technology and Business (ICIITB 2024) and the ICCSST 2023 International Conference on Computational Sciences and Sustainable Technologies, jointly organized by MCBS and other academic partners. His commitment to enhancing quality in higher education is evident from his roles as Chair of the Academic Committee for the OQNHE 4th Conference in 2017.
