Sharifa Mohamed Al-Mazrui

Sharifa Mohamed Suleiman Ali Mazrui is an experienced educator specializing in English as a Second Language (ESL). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Kuwait (1975) and has completed various professional development programs, including an advanced summer course at The Bell School of Languages in Cambridge. Sharifa has extensive teaching experience, starting as an ESL teacher at Al-Ferdous Secondary School for Girls in Kuwait from 1976 to 1990, and since 1997, she has been an ESL lecturer at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) in Oman.

Over the course of her career, Sharifa has participated in numerous educational conferences and workshops, including those at Sultan Qaboos University and in Dubai. Her commitment to education has been recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation for 17 years of dedicated service at MCBS. Sharifa is also an active member of the Student Support Committee and enjoys organizing educational events such as spelling bees. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, movie screenings with students, and organizing social events.
