Dr. Umar Ahmed is an Associate Professor of Islamic Finance at the department of Business and Economics, Modern College of Business & Science. With over 18 years of experience in academia, Dr. Umar has contributed significantly to both teaching & research. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from a renowned institution, where his research focused on Islamic Finance.

Dr. Umar’s expertise includes Islamic banking, Islamic financial markets, and Waqf. He has published numerous articles in prestigious journals and has presented his work at international conferences. His research aims to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic financial principles and contemporary financial systems.

At the Modern College of Business & Science, Dr. Umar is known for his engaging teaching style and dedication to student success. He mentors students in their research projects and supervises postgraduate theses, fostering a deep understanding of Islamic finance among the next generation of finance professionals.
