Dr. Ravi Thirumalaisamy, who has been with the Modern College of Business and Science, Muscat, since 2012, is currently heading the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics at the Modern College of Business and Science [ MCBS], Muscat, OMAN. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Corporate Accounting from Bharathiar University[ A Government University], India. His academic areas are Corporate Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Finance, International Finance, and SAPM. He has 26 years of teaching experience and academic experience in various managerial positions. He has experience in Quality assurance, Program Accreditation, and Institutional Accreditation. He is currently involved in preparing the business department for AACSB Accreditation. He has published research papers in the field of corporate accounting, finance, investment, and international finance in reputed journals, including SCOPUS, ISI, and Web of Science-indexed journals, and presented papers at several international conferences. He headed the Department of Business at Royal Thimphu College, BHUTAN, before joining MCBS. He has been a review committee member serving various international research journals. He is a program reviewer for the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman.
