Benson Ruzive

Areas of Research

Benson Ruzive is a seasoned academic and professional specializing in supply chain management and logistics. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Supply Chain from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, Benson holds a Master of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Lusaka, Zambia, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in International Purchasing, Logistics, and Transport from Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimbabwe.

With extensive experience in both academia and industry, Benson has served as a lecturer at various institutions, including the Modern College of Business and Sciences in Oman, Women’s University in Africa, and Chinhoyi University of Technology. His teaching portfolio includes courses in transport management, logistics, and operations management. In addition to teaching, Benson is actively involved in research, with a focus on supply chain management, digital technologies in education, and sustainable logistics practices. He has presented his work at international conferences and contributed to numerous publications and book chapters.

Benson’s research has been recognized through various grants, including projects funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman. His work is aimed at addressing critical issues in supply chain performance, food safety risks, and the competitive advantage of logistics in Oman. Benson is known for his strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to continuous learning and development.
