The Modern College of Business and Science offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees as well as a Bachelor of Science Degrees. Both the Associate degrees and the Bachelor degrees are based on the educational models of degrees offered in the United States and follow the guidelines of the Omani National Qualifications Framework. The College also offers certificates in other academic areas and a certificate for the successful completion of the English as a Second Language Program.

The Associate Degree programs provide students with an opportunity to complete two years of study with the intent of entering the labor force immediately. Graduates with an Associate Degree also have the opportunity of continuing their studies to complete their Bachelors Degree or of transferring to another institution in the region or overseas to complete the remaining two years of study. The College has precise articulation agreements with the University of Missouri-Saint Louis (United States), with Bond University (Australia), and the University of Exeter (United Kingdom) to insure that students receive appropriate recognition and credit for the academic work completed. Under the provisions of these articulation agreements, students who have received a grade of "C-" or higher will receive credit for work taken at the College. (Students should be aware that the final decision to grant or withhold credit rests with the host institution.)

An Associate of Arts degree consists of a minimum of twenty five hours of General Education courses with the remaining hours being taken in the area of emphasis. A total of sixty credit hours minimum are required for the Associate degree.
